What the hell happened at KCHRN?

As most of you know we all kind of quit our shows and went on with our lives. Not that KCHRN wasn't a big part of our lives; it was very much a large part of our lives and consumed us for many years.

The_Juke, co-host and creator of Riff Revolution (The KCJukeBox Show), Anvil of Crom, and the station's executive producer, turned his focus toward playing music with a variety of bands in Kansas City and is still doing so today.

Brad Westmar, host and creator of the Wild Wild Westmar Show, turned his focus toward his family and baby girl, who is now 2 1/2. We are not sure how that worked but we are told he made it through with very little drugs. Both Baby and Westmar are doing great. Bjorn however is whole other story.

The NightWatch Show, well let's just say it's no longer on the network and we are ok with that. We hope they are finally realizing what it takes to maintain a network.

Our syndicated content.

Barry from Bear in the Morning and Raven from The Vault of Metal... Man, we owe so much to them - thanks to those guys! Bear was on every Monday – Friday mornings and Raven took over just before Noon and continued till 5PM Monday – Friday. They did this for nearly five years straight and did it because they loved it… because we sure didn’t pay them anything! Both of them also turned their focus toward their families and we wish them well. They both know if they every kick it up again they have a home on the KChost Radio Network.

SpankWagon was the first show to air on the network and the last syndicated show to go off air. But they didn’t go away completely. They still broadcast but now they are producing great Webisodes. We hope to work with them again in the future. Check them out at http://www.spankwagon.net.

The voices of the KCHost Radio Network

Jody Thornton was not only our official voiceover man but he was our sound engineer. He was a major player in the sound of KCHRN and was praised so many times over by terrestrial radio and other mediums. He is still around and doing well. He has also been producing a new show called Cool Cat. We hope to be airing it sometime soon.

September Day was the original voice of KCHRN but went on to do more exclusive (and profitable) voice work for other shows and networks. She is still doing voice work and you can hear her on nationally broadcast TV commercials for major networks and shows like the MTV Video Music Awards.
